1. In short
We hold very little data about you: your letters to us, used only to reply, and your cookie preference, kept in your own browser. We don't sell or share personal information, and we never will. The details follow.
2. Who answers for your data
Feather & Flame Supper Club, 3 Hearth Lane, Charleston, South Carolina. Write to [email protected] with any privacy question.
3. What we hold and why
- Letters and form messages. Your name, email, subject and message. Used solely to reply. Kept no longer than 12 months after our final exchange, then deleted.
- Cookie preference. Stored in your browser's local storage so the consent banner stays away. Contains no personal data.
- Anonymous reading statistics. With your consent, we may review anonymized page views to see which recipes are read most. It never identifies you.
4. Lawful basis
Replying to your letters: legitimate interest. Optional statistics: your consent, withdrawable at any time by clearing your browser storage.
5. Sharing
We share your data with no one, save where the law requires it. Our hosting providers process data on our behalf under contract.
6. Your rights
You may ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you;
- correct or delete it;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- complain to your local data protection authority.
Write to [email protected]; we respond within 30 days.
7. Security
HTTPS across the site, current software, and access limited to the small circle that runs the club. We guard your data as carefully as our brine recipes — which is to say, jealously.
8. Amendments
Should our practices change, this page updates first, and meaningful changes will be announced on the homepage.
